An Inter-Dimentional Folk-Tale
GALLEON ADRIFT is a FAIRY from the Sosighcity of Too Many Tribes. Gally lives at the back of the LIONBITER’S Garden, in the Tuneland of GLENOFD’RAAAH; a suburb of a suburbia so sprawling that it transcends, space, time and the UNIVERSE. For that very reason, another adventure is never that far off, much to the delight of her Power Animal companion GALLABEE.
What's the story?
About ten years ago it came to me as I wandered the depths of the Irish mountains, the idea for fairytale set in a surreal and mysterious SO-SIGH-CITY where Gnomes do all the gardening, Wizards, Fairies and Us are divided along tribal lines and, most importantly of all, anything might possible down the next alleyway! From there the story took on a life of it own, becoming so much more then I could have imagined.
All my life imagination has been a constant companion for me, the thing that has helped me to see the magic and mystery beyond the everyday grind, but more the that, its this creativity that has helped me to realise how incredibly bizarre (but fundamentally very magical too) this daily grind is in the first place!
After all adventures I’ve had in Gally’s world I feel it would be selfish keep it all to myself. I have literally hundreds of thousands of story lines and ideas but nothing like enough time to get them into any readable shape and size. So if you would like to see more of Gally’s adventure come to alive with new illustrations and story lines you could buy a PRINT. A bit of support would allow me to spend more of my time making this wild imagination of ideas into something you can enjoy too.
On one a final note, this site is very much a work in progress. In time I would like to add more music illustrations and of course many more chapters, sequels, side stories etc.
